Rick initially made a living from jewellery making, antique restoration and garden design, training later in therapeutic massage
He completed a BA Hons degree in ceramics at Westminster University, Harrow 1993-96. He began making and selling ceramics from his studio at The Chocolate Factory in Hackney, North London.
He has recently moved to Penzance in Cornwall.
